My PC freezes randomly during gameplay, and I'm experiencing difficulty diagnosing the issue. I have attempted several troubleshooting steps, including deleting temporary files, manually reinstalling my GPU driver (which slightly extended the freezing interval – it now typically occurs after 10 minutes instead of immediately), running a memory check, increasing virtual memory, utilizing the System File Checker (which reported no errors), and using CCleaner. Temperatures are normal, and neither the GPU nor CPU is experiencing a bottleneck. I am uncertain about the root cause of these freezes.

Specifications:
GeForce GTX 650
Intel® Core™ i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
8GB of RAM
Windows 10

(Apologies for my English.)

What are the CPU and GPU temperatures and usage while playing a game? What is the RAM, HDD, and SSD usage during gameplay?

The system has been tested. CPU/GPU temperatures are approximately 60-65°C, with the GPU usage ranging from 60-80% and rarely exceeding 90%. The CPU is consistently at 60-70% usage. RAM speed is approximately 5400MHz. Also, my game (Team Fortress 2) typically maintains around 150 frames per second. I should consider capping the frame rate.

Prior to investigating your specifications, it’s essential to implement device hardening and resolve the numerous background services that aren't visible in Task Manager. Access the Services application through your search bar and thoroughly research each service before disabling it, as doing so could render your PC unusable, requiring a system restore. After addressing these services, shut down and then reboot your computer. This action specifically resolved my game freezing issues along with other problems.

The entire list failed, didn't it? Initially, it didn’t work for me either, leading me to question its effectiveness. I am certain of its success because, like many others, I exhausted every alternative solution without achieving any results. It appears to be the only method that resolved the problem. However, it is simple for me to suggest a RAM upgrade—as you should acquire 8 gigabytes—considering how affordable it is. Nevertheless, our culture encourages spending money to solve problems, a strategy that isn’t always effective in computing. I recently invested over $900 in a high-performance PC and still encountered the same problems as my previous system. Therefore, I wouldn’t begin by attributing the issue to specifications; instead, I would remove CCleaner and limit the frame rate. Starting at 60 frames per second and gradually increasing it would be a logical approach.

I’ve overlooked a critical notification: “Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.” This might be linked to the freezing issue. Do you have any suggestions for resolving this?

Due to my work schedule, I cannot respond right now. You should consult Google for information regarding PCs; it is a valuable resource.
