Following the introduction provided, I recently received a preview version of the game and attempted to install it. The installer began functioning as expected, initiating the download of Vanguard. However, approximately 82 MB into the process, my laptop experiences a complete freeze. My mouse and keyboard become unresponsive, rendering me unable to perform any action whatsoever. The display remains static. Consequently, I am compelled to disconnect the power supply and reboot my computer. Does anyone have insight into potential reasons for this issue? Furthermore, I can confirm that my graphics drivers and Windows (Windows 7) are both current.

According to my interpretation, this is how I see it.

Therefore, I believe the initial step would be to re-download completely.

The previous/present download could have contained errors or been damaged.
