I have two computers with windows installed. The big one usually gets slow when I run a speed test from Ookla because it's supposed to hit around 45 Mbps but only shows me 10 to 17 Mbps on my main computer. That is strange since the download speed looks exactly the same as all other devices and tests on my second system, which is super fast at about 920 Mbps. Both computers have the exact same hardware and driver versions using Driver Easy. I even tried updating from MSI drivers but they still act like nothing changed. Does anyone have any tips to fix this? I tried these things: 1) Run DISM and SFC, 2) Turn off Large Send Offload V2, 3) Turn off global autotuning level, 4) Reset the network settings, or 5) Uninstall all drivers and reinstall them (I checked both Microsoft versions and the latest ones). I think it might be caused by Cfos but I already removed that software and no better results came out. One important thing is this: when I was using a wired connection to test on my main system, switching to wifi made the upload speed jump up nicely to 36-40 Mbps, which feels normal because of how far the router is. But now it looks really weird compared to other devices and my second computer where the upload speed climbs straight to 40+Mbps instead of slowly building up like this.

Here are two things: first, make sure only one network adapter is turned on on your main computer. Don't have both wired and wireless active at once, or even more than one working at the same time. Just let one be the only choice. Second, here is a key point I learned during my test: when I connected using the wired cable instead of Wi-Fi, the upload speed went up to about 36-40 Mbps. To find out if your slow problem is actually with the cables themselves, try using the fast system's network cable and swap it with one from your main setup.

Don't let your PC have powerful networking gear because it can slow things down. Check if you have Killer tools installed and make sure the speed is at its highest before turning them off completely.

Yes, I took out everything else so only one is working. All of them are using the same wire, and what I meant is those two systems were both on the exact same computer. I just added up two new windows to it. Thank you for your message!

Have you downloaded the right drivers from your computer maker's site? Don't just trust the built-in ones in Windows.

I think I don't know it yet, I upgraded to Windows 11 on this system today, and it seems to fix things, but I need Windows 10. So I am now trying to roll back to see if the problem returns. Yes, as I said before, I used both official MSI and the latest, both act the same way.
