My mouse stopped working when I used it and I got a message saying "touchpad disabled." I checked Device Manager and my touchpad, which was named Asus Precision Touchpad, looked greyed out. I tried reinstalling drivers, turning them off, removing them, and restarting the computer. When it came back on, the touchpad wasn't even showing up in hidden options either. I also downloaded and installed drivers straight from the ASUS website but that didn't help. I reset my BIOS settings just to see if that fixes anything.

The track pad is either totally broken or not connected to its own circuitry anymore.
