My squad blamed me for cheating and thought I should drop the match :(
What concerns me is the behavior of people, particularly Russian players. I dropped to MG2 during a loss against MGE and MG1, yet after that I consistently performed well in every match. Recently, I played exceptionally strong, even defeating their entire team solo on A site with a planted bomb. My own squad called me out, thinking I was just lucky or skilled. I’m exhausted from playing solo Q and it’s uncommon to have teammates from my own country nearby—like Germany, France, or Sweden. Russia is usually the focus, but it’s not always accurate. The bottom two teams finished in the top five, and I’ve won two games as MG2 while losing four. I’m puzzled about how I haven’t dropped again, despite having a lot of MVP and frags.
What kind of setup are you asking about? It seems unrelated to my current focus.
If it helps, I'll wait with you so you don't get banned. Ice had her share of pranks too. It seems I now have a triggerbot, but I don’t recall installing it!
The shift from rank MG1 to MG2 raises questions about the players in those positions. Their strongest opponent on the enemy side is a top-level smurf, yet we might have won if they had listened and played better. Some people seem completely out of their depth.
Are you sure the throwers weren't just trying to mess with us? I've dealt with some bad actors on my team who blame the leaders for cheating, using it as an excuse to throw and lose. It's always a tough situation—just two sides, no more, no less. That way, your team can't retaliate and you either have to accept the loss or try to fix things. Source: I've been really frustrated by derankers and trolls many times.
This could have been a simple status update. Also note the reports from griefing.
