Hi.
So i was making my comuter ready for sale. I put an graphic card in, and changed the psu. Both parts worked 2 days ago.
I started the computer, and went right into windows. I forgot to wait for the drivers etc to load, and just went to the start meny and pressed restart windows because I wanted to get to bios. It went out of windows, but never restarted. And now It wil not post at all, no start.
All fans, gpu, cpu, ram rgb starts up. Iv tried another gpu, iv tried to remove one and one ram chip, resetting bios and remove battery. Nothing helps! I really dont understand how it died so suddenly, and what might be wrong.
Mainboard x470 gaming plus
Gpu: 1070 / 1650 ghost
16gb ram corsair
Psu corsair 550w.
If you insert the installer USB and select that first boot option, it will show something or allow direct BIOS access. There is no video output present. Regarding the issue, a Ryzen CPU/BIOS problem with the chipset is common without replacing the CPU. You might want to test with another system or a low-power graphics solution to check for card or power supply faults.
I can perform some testing, but without a post it's not possible to boot from USB. The mainboard is showing "VGA," which suggests the GPU isn't working or isn't present. I've tried two GPUs but couldn't get them to start. I'm concerned there might have been damage during the GPU swap or a hard press when installing, which could have affected the PCIe port. I'm hoping for some additional advice to try, but a reset seems to have resolved the issue.
