I just bought a HP Victus 16 with a Ryzen 5 5600H and an RX 5500M. When I play games like GTA 5, the GPU stays cool around 80 degrees but the CPU gets hot. It doesn't slow down on its own; it keeps going at full speed without dropping its clock speed or cutting back to lower voltage. My game runs smoothly too. I even swapped out the old thermal paste for a Cooler Master Master Gel after buying this, and now everything feels good.

It's completely fine. The chip has a built-in limit so it only heats up until the temperature reaches 100 degrees Celsius, which is its safe top point.
