Hello, welcome to the site. I was curious about what it meant when your RGB fan control board began smoking. I didn’t turn off the PC before experimenting and the site suggested plugging something in. Fortunately, my PC didn’t shut down and everything functions normally, though the fans no longer light up. Any advice on new RGB fans would be appreciated. I have a Sharkoon VG6-W RGB case with a GIGABYTE B450M GAMING motherboard installed.

the case used rgb fans that changed color, but does your motherboard actually support rgb at all? you're just starting out with pc components.
