The Intel Pentium G4560 setup includes an RX 480, 4GB RAM, MSI Armor OC 8x2, 16GB storage, 2133MHz clock, 500W power, and EVGA PSU. I'm running a custom map called Survive Altis in Arma 3. My rig often drops to below 60 FPS (30-50 FPS) at medium to high settings. I haven't lowered the settings yet, assuming the issue might appear at lower settings if it's already under 60 FPS. It seems my system might be struggling with the current configuration or the game's optimization, possibly due to the new Pentium chip. I'm not sure yet.

Arma 3 performs poorly on hardware, even with a high-end setup. I have an i7 6700K running at 4.5 GHz overclocked and 16 GB RAM, but I still see no more than 30 FPS in single-player, often dropping to 120 or lower.

I'll look into "power options" to confirm high performance settings. I'll also arrange for the Nvidia Control Panel (or similar) if available. It's unclear if this will assist, but I'll proceed with performance settings. Arma 3 has improved recently—do you know if you've played in the past six months? Your setup with GTX 1070 and i5 6600K seems stable.

Arma 3 demands high performance from both CPU and GPU. Your graphics card should suffice, but the processor might need some extra power. I just wish to see a 64-bit release, as they’ve been working on it—maybe Arma 4 will come soon?

They require an F1 equivalent to the dx12 update to ensure all my 12 threads are utilized effectively!

Great gameplay, excellent graphics tuning and server setup. It's unlikely BIS will adopt DX12 in this title.

It's interesting how they manage their private servers. We handle everything ourselves, decide which mods to use, and build strong communities. Last summer I worked as a Senior Admin on the JGGaming server for Arma 2 OA—pretty cool times!

Consider playing on a budget or trying a different game.
