My Razer Master PC is broken, so I need help.
Hi everyone, I used AMD Ryzen Master game mode and now my PC won't turn on. Here is what I have: the CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 2400g, the RAM is 8GB from Adata at 2666Hz in single channel, the motherboard is an ASUS A320M-A, the PSU is a Green GP530A-EUD, and the GPU is an MSI Nvidia GTX 960 with 4GB of video memory. I tried these steps too but nothing worked: 1. Removing the CMOS battery for more than an hour when there is no power from the PSU 2. Swapping out the RAM stick 3. Taking out both the CPU and GPU and reconnecting them 4. Disconnecting all USB or Ethernet connections, but still nothing happens When I press the power button the system turns on but there is no POST beep and no picture on the monitor Please help everythings was working fine before this PC was my first decent one and I ruined it in less than a year. (T-T)
We need to talk more about that. That power supply is just looking bad, and it's probably not very good at all. Did you mess around with the CPU speeds when you turned on Game Mode? The chip won't let you go higher than normal anyway, except for your memory sticks.
Did you short those CMOS pins? The English manual on page 1-3, under section 7, tells you exactly how to clear them.
Yeah, I do that too, but I wasn't sure if my screwdriver was working right or if I messed things up. So now I'm going to take the CMOS battery out.
I use only one game mode on my AMD Ryzen Master and it comes with a pre-set, so everything runs exactly as it was supposed to.
This actually works just like shorting pins do too. Also, try to find a steady power supply from someone who knows how, like a friend or neighbor, something that looks nice and comes from Corsair or similar brands. Then put it in the computer case and see if you get some electricity at all. *That PSU doesn't look very good.*
Yeah, the instructions tell you to short those pins while taking out the battery. Did you actually do that?
