I primarily enjoy playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, but this issue also occurs in other games. A peculiar aspect of it is that the game crashes only once during each session; when it freezes, I simply terminate it using Task Manager, and it stops freezing until my computer is restarted.

Could anyone offer assistance with resolving this?

MSI Z370 Tomahawk
i5-8600k
Gigabyte GTX 1080Ti
HyperX 2x8GB 3000MHz Predator Black CL15
Seasonic FOCUS Plus Gold 650 (SSR-650FX) 80Plus Gold 650W
CRUCIAL MX500 250GB
Toshiba 2TB 7200rpm 64MB P300 OEM
QHD 144hz G-Sync monitor
WIN 10

This problem began when I initially purchased the system approximately six months ago. Reinstalling Windows 10 did not provide a solution.

Edit: Today, while playing Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on a secondary display, the same issue presented itself; the game froze completely, preventing interaction within the game. The in-game background music continued to play, but the only viable solution was to terminate it using Task Manager—there’s no “not responding” indicator. The event log shows an "Application Hang 1002" when I close the application with Task Manager.

Power supply unit manufacturer and model, and what kind of storage do you employ?

The Seasonic FOCUS Plus Gold 650 (SSR-650FX) with an 80Plus Gold rating, delivering 650 watts, is paired with a CRUCIAL MX500 solid-state drive offering 250GB storage. Additionally, there’s a Toshiba 2TB 7200rpm drive with a 64MB cache and P300 OEM designation, alongside HyperX memory consisting of two 8GB modules at 3000MHz with a CL15 latency rating. However, gaming data resides on the SSD.
