My pump won't start

I'm switching my PSU from the 16/17 pins on the 24-pin adapter and my front fans that link directly to the PSU via a MOLEX run. My top fans, which connect to the motherboard, aren't getting power and I'm aware they function. The issue is my pump has no MOLEX and connects straight to the motherboard, but I've heard it's risky. Can I find a way for the motherboard to supply power to my 3/4 pin fan headers?

Connect the pump to the motherboard CPU fan, attach all power cables, and start the PC. It has no molex and is built to run that way.

What type of pump is being discussed? Are we referring to a custom loop PWM pump or a closed loop cooler?

You didn't include any of the components you were using. Connect the pump to the motherboard CPU fan, attach all power cables, and start the PC—it doesn't have a molex connector and is built to run that way.
