Are the antennas pointing toward the router? In a real full-sized PC with antennas on the back, facing them incorrectly will make it tough to get a strong signal. The AX200 is among the quickest cards available right now. Make sure you install the newest Intel drivers directly.

The bottom part of my computer is pointing away from the router, making it straight up and slightly tilted at 45 degrees.

Yeah that's far from ideal, its why I always recommend antennas on the end of a short cable so you can put it on the top of the PC and keep them vertical, as radio signals also have polarity. So even if the angle lets it see the signal, it might be weaker and lose the ability to use MIMO (which can halve the speed you would normally get from that signal strength) just from having the antenna horizontal rather than vertical. There's also no way to know even on long antennas if they are REALLY putting the receiver near the tip, or just sticking a load of plastic on there to make it "look" like its a longer antenna.
