I own a DJI mini SE drone and my phone is a Moto G Stylus. Previously, everything worked fine, but now I struggle to connect my phone to the system notifications and associate the USB device. When I plug in the drone remote, the phone begins charging, pauses, charges again, and then stops repeatedly. Eventually, once it starts charging, it remains in the charging state without any notifications appearing. I confirmed USB debugging is enabled, but the default debugging app doesn’t show anything or is unavailable. Could this be related to the issue? Thank you in advance for your help.

Do you have another functional USB cable to consider?
This drone?
https://www.dji.com/mini-se/specs
According to the specifications:
Supported USB Port Types
Lightning, Micro USB (Type-B), USB Type-C

I've attempted another method without success. This is the accurate drone. I reset app preferences and default apps for the first time ever; when something connects to my phone, USB options don't appear in system alerts. It simply begins charging the phone. I also confirmed USB debugging is enabled in developer options.

There are no recent changes to the phone. No new applications have been introduced.

There has been at least one update and a dozen apps since the drone was down. I managed to get parts and fix it recently. Any suggestions?

There are at least a dozen applications involved. You might need to remove them and check if the charging function is consistent. Then reinstall them gradually, giving space between each installation. And it's unclear what specific issues were resolved on the drone; the components appear to be sourced elsewhere.

I swapped out the gps module, the 3 in 1 gps, gimbal, compass ribbon cable, as well as the ESC board and ribbon cable. The components came from trustworthy ebay sellers.

Remove the installed applications first. If charging returns to normal, attempt to reinstall them one by one, giving time between each. If the issue reappears after reinstalling, the recently added app is probably the cause.
