My PCs problem
The issue started after upgrading your hardware. When you connect your other Ethernet port, you notice this problem and find it frustrating since you're comfortable with some tasks but not this one anymore. It seems to be outside your local network range.
Which motherboard are you running? You can find Ethernet drivers on the website.
Ok i5 2400 CPU 8 gb ddr3 r7 240 It's in a Dell 390 motherboard it's connected from my wifi roughter to my eithernet switch built into my motherboard and when I do ipconfig these no default gateway and I don't have a ip
This Dell 390 runs an i5 2400 and R7 240, yet it’s still a Windows 7 machine and isn’t displaying 10 on the website.
Because it came with Windows 7 doesn’t guarantee it will work on 10. That could be useful if that’s available. Still, this device seems quite outdated—could it be a brand-new router? Maybe the cable it uses isn’t compatible with your older machine, or perhaps the router relies on an older connection type that your device can’t handle.
