Last night my computer worked fine without any updates. But overnight it restarted itself and I can't log into Windows anymore. When I try to sign in, it shows the login attempt but doesn't work. I've tried entering both pin and password, but nothing happens. Restarting it is tricky—I have to press the power button on the case. Using the mouse to restart or shut down just brings me back to the screen. It's frustrating because I want to play CS:GO and am close to reaching Gold Nova 2 status.

Open the Power Options menu and select "Advanced power settings." Then click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable." Under "Turn on change modes," choose "Safe Mode with networking."

It seems identical to previous versions, so press F8 when the Windows logo shows.
