Hey! I tried to clarify the issue as best as I could. Last night my PC froze while streaming on Discord, so I assumed it was a software glitch and restarted it. After that, when I went back in, it froze again and displayed a black screen for about a minute. The problem kept recurring, and I thought reinstalling Windows would fix it. But it didn’t. I also checked the usual troubleshooting steps—updated drivers, fixed basic settings, reinstalled Windows—but nothing worked. Now I’m trying to understand what’s going on with the freezing itself. For example, I can switch between open tabs and still manage to work, but if I try to open the Start menu or a new app while the PC is lagging, it freezes and often needs a reboot. Also, my browser doesn’t load properly during these freezes, even though I have internet access from a Discord call. I’ve done everything I could. What should I do next?

Do you believe this freeze relates to Discord? (Does it occur even outside of a Discord call?)
If yes, does the web version of Discord also present similar problems? (For users already on the web version, switch to the Discord app)

No, the updates were disabled until the 15th of February, and after fully reinstalling Windows, the issue seems resolved.
