Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a wonderful day. I assembled this computer twenty days ago, and upon initial startup after sleeping, it began emitting a distinct grinding sound. My Windows 10 operating system successfully loaded, but the noise persisted continuously. I shut it down out of concern and restarted it, which worked without problems.

I’m uncertain whether the issue stems from my hard drive, fans, or power supply unit. Could you please suggest some potential solutions? I’m quite worried about this!

PC Specifications:
Pentium Gold G5400 Processor
GT1030 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
2x 4GB Crucial 2400MHz RAM
ESC H310H5-M2 Motherboard
WD Blue 1TB Hard Drive
iBall 450Watt Power Supply

Initiate the process by unveiling the container and powering it on.

I discovered the problem—it’s my computer’s fan on the heatsink. Do you have any suggestions for resolving this?

It's a new heatsink and yes it it's installed properly and if it's failing it always happed but it only happen when I power on my computer like 5-6 hours later also it happens rarely and when I tap on fan it stop making noise.

There appears to be a problem concerning the fan; it should be returned and possibly replaced.

Checking for cable contact is important; it doesn't need to be replaced if there’s no physical damage. You might be right about the installation, but a loose screw can easily cause problems, and it's a frequent oversight.
