My PC is freezing up, and I'm trying to troubleshoot it.
It s my first topic here so i don't know how to begin, also my english is not that good
So, these days i smashed my PC on the ground, and when i power it, it doesnt boot, i dont know what i do, i change something in bios and it was ok, he started, but i notice that is freezing for 2-3 seconds and is working a little hard, so i reinstalled my windows + format all the hdd, and nothing, it is still freezing and is annoying cause it s freezing only in action time when i play games and i die for no reason
I watched all my pc components and the pc recognize them, i think is the hdd since he couldnt boot on him, he dont even show in bios till i do some settings there
My PC is i7 6700, 8 gb ram and gtx 1060 6 gb so is impossible to freeze on a game like LoL, so if u can please say me what to do
If you dropped it and it still functions at all, I’d say you probably damaged your HDD (assuming it's an HDD and not an SSD). The other components don’t really stand up well to shocks, but the HDD is the only thing with moving parts that could be misaligned. Another possibility would be knocking one of your fans loose on your GPU or CPU, causing the component to throttle down. Monitoring temperature if you can would rule that out.
CPU: 123°C / 85% Usage
GPU: 90°C / 98% Usage
RAM: 64GB / 75% Usage
HDD: N/A (SSD) / N/A
PSU: 750W, 80+ Gold Efficiency
