I’ve been playing games like Fortnite and Apex Legends on this and they run pretty well. Though lately there has been stuttering (up to 1-2 seconds of a frozen frame). I think it’s because of the monitor since I turned the graphics down to absolute crap and it still persists. I’ve tried things like turning the power options to high performance but there’s still the 1-2 seconds of stuttering. It isn't micro stuttering but it’s like I said before up to 1-2 seconds. It happens consistently in the games I play.

Does it happen in offline games?
Because stuttering like that is often caused by connection and internet speed issues.

It doesn’t happen in offline games. And if it is caused by the internet, then what should I do? I have ethernet which gives me solid speed.

Clearly you have some sort of connectivity issue so you don't have solid speed. If your connection shared with others in the house? Are they streaming Netflix or something while you're playing? Are you downloading in the background while playing? Maybe the servers you're connecting to are not in your region?

Hmmm, I don't think any of that's happening. Since stuttering also appears to happen while my internet's not being shared. And I've definitely selected a server close to my region that gives me 20 ping.

It also depends on the people you're playing with too; if you often play with people who have bad connections, you might experience stutters.

Hello, I know this post is super old but just wanted to help any random strangers that stumble upon this problem. Ran a diagnostics and found out it was because my CPU was way too hot. Opened up my PC and replaced the thermal paste and everything was as good as new! Have a great day.
