You can't really use software to check if the power supply works well on its own. But you can use OCCT to make all your parts work harder at once, and then look at HWiNFO to see if the wattage is normal for your CPU and graphics card. That doesn't mean the PSU isn't broken though. It might act fine for a while, but suddenly start failing right away. If your computer crashes during testing, that doesn't tell you it's the power supply problem. It could also just be something else entirely. That's why people on this forum suggest getting a different power supply kit. That's the only way to really know for sure.

This fix helps anyone who had that exact issue too. I turned off the sleep timer so it doesn't go to sleep at all, and now everything works fine again.
