I changed from an Intel chip to an AMD one, but I retained my previous graphics card, which is why the graphics stopped functioning properly.

Do you need details on both the previous and current systems? Which graphics card are you referring to? And could you clarify what issues you're experiencing?

I need a modern system but my current setup is outdated, an old i5 8600k and a new Ryzen 7 5000.

Check if the fans are rotating on the GPU. If using an APU with a Ryzen CPU, try booting with it. Connect the DP or HDMI cable to the motherboard.

They make quite a lot of sound. I've already attempted it, but I'll give it another shot.

If the screen isn't appearing through the APU, the problem likely lies with the CPU or MOBO. To determine which is the issue, look for any error messages on the motherboard or audible beeps. Also, verify if the fans are functioning properly.
