Hi, I set up this system a long time ago for a specific purpose. I observed some interesting details:

I can adjust the BCLK easily. Is this worth it? It’s at 103 ATM!

I can also modify the voltage.

The best part is I found the CPU ratio in the settings—it seems that’s the CPU multiplier, right? Sorry if I’m misunderstanding.

Can I really overclock with this board? Is it safe?

Certainly, you can safely lower the clock speed but ensure the voltage remains stable so the system stays cooler and the fans operate at a lower rate.

Multiplier times BCLK equals CPU frequency. The multiplier can stay fixed but only increase, you may reduce it whenever needed.

CountMike shared some tips about adjusting the multiplier and BCLK settings. He mentioned that while the multiplier can be locked for higher speeds, you can reduce it later if needed. He also warned that lowering the BCLK might affect memory speed too much, so you may need to decrease the memory multiplier. He suggested testing a gradual increase if you're unsure. Regarding your question, it's generally safe to lower the BCLK down to 80 without changing voltage, but always check your motherboard's specifications first.

CountMike confirms the adjustment is possible but advises verifying voltage changes to ensure optimal cooling and fan performance.
