I just want to know if having my graphics card at zero percent after I quit the game makes sense, since I never thought about it that way before.

Do you know how to take apart a computer? You could put a new CPU or GPU back in and apply some fresh thermal paste, like Arctic MX4 or 5. Here is a video showing the rough steps involved. If this is your first time doing it, research your laptop carefully and get familiar with its parts: Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop Thermal Repaste Using Kryonaut Thermal Grizzly - YouTube

No, it doesn't have to be zero. It might just dip a tiny bit when the game closes or time runs out on some devices, like phones or laptops with screens left on, but I've never seen it hit exactly nothing.

This seems like a computer problem. Do you know how to fix it? I'm pretty sure I did something wrong and that broke my PC.

It might happen. If you reinstall the Windows software, maybe that solves it. How much space is on your hard drive? Does it feel like the computer is running low on room? Having too much data filling up can make things move slower for you and even hurt when playing games.

I have about three hundred gigabytes free on my main hard drive. My extra drive holds one hundred sixteen gigabytes too. Both drives are fast solid-state drives. If I reset the computer and start fresh with Windows, will all my files disappear?

So I tried reinstalling my computer with a trick from that video link. But honestly, nothing worked here either.

I'd recommend starting with a complete clean install using this method: Download the Windows 10 version from microsoft.com, put a thumb drive in, and wipe everything on it anyway. It could mean your computer is broken so a new start makes sense. Get rid of all junk files. Even though downloading everything again hurts, fixing that will stop software bugs for sure. Just keep updating your drivers and refresh the graphics card too once you finish all Windows updates.

Okay so it is the exact same steps, but I just have to pick one: either wipe out everything or keep my important stuff. Honestly, keeping them feels like a really bad idea lol.
