Hi, I actually have the exact same issue – my games keep having these little lag spikes or sometimes just completely crash. I’ve tried restarting Windows, but that hasn't helped. For a bit, lowering the clock speed of my graphics card worked, but it stopped working recently and now I’m getting crashes again. All my drivers are up to date too.

I have an i5-6600k running at 4.3 GHz, and even with the stock settings, I'm still experiencing this problem. My graphics card is a GTX 1080 Ti, and it doesn’t overheat – it stays below 65 degrees Celsius. It’s happening on both my HDD and SSD, so maybe someone else can figure out a solution.

You know, I was just thinking about that – maybe if we slowed things down a bit, we could figure it out too?

It’s just frustrating when my computer isn’t getting enough power – like, it needs more volts for the processor to work properly.
