Hey everyone, just built a new PC but it’s missing video output and the keyboard isn’t working—no boot to BIOS, fans spin when powered on. When I install RAM it doesn’t produce any beeps, but with no RAM it does. It runs at 80 Plus Bronze with a 550W power supply. Specs: Ryzen 5-5600G, ASRock B550, Phantom Gaming, 4GB RAM, HyperX 8GB, 3600MHz Seasonic III.

The BIOS on your motherboard might still be from the original manufacturer version and isn't compatible with the 5000 series Ryzen. You could attempt an update if you own a 3000 series processor.

AMD previously provided a BIOS upgrade package, typically supplying the lower-end CPU for that generation to replace your motherboard slots. It’s unclear if this is still available, but it could be worth checking.
