I’m uncertain whether this is the appropriate forum for my situation (new user), but a friend and I are attempting to establish our own server. However, whenever either of us attempts to connect, we encounter errors indicating that essential blocks and items are absent. The error message isn’t clear about which mods are required.

Log:
[19:01:14] [Netty IO #2/INFO] [FML]: Connection attempt failed due to missing mods.
[19:01:14] [Server thread/INFO]: Ben_Shapeeno disconnected: TextComponent{text='Disconnected', siblings=[], style=Style{hasParent=false, color=null, bold=null, italic=null, underlined=null, obfuscated=null, clickEvent=null, hoverEvent=null}}

Could anyone offer assistance? I have the complete log file if necessary, though I am presently away from my computer.

You would have to reference whatever mods the server is running vs the mods you are running.

Because the command prompt indicated that I was lacking two Quality of Life modifications—which I had already installed—and demonstrated this clearly, I am experiencing considerable bewilderment.

Consider setting up a basic server with an unmodded client to test its functionality first. If this succeeds, begin incorporating modifications incrementally, testing each one individually.

Could referencing material hosted on an external, public server prove beneficial?

It’s improbable, as that doesn't guarantee your server is functioning correctly.

A different phrasing would be beneficial. Let’s systematically add modifications one at a time, observing the effect and removing any that are not contributing to the solution. Although the initial report indicates no missing components, this approach might reveal an underlying issue. Are there alternative methods besides this that we could explore? I’m open to trying it, but prefer not to if possible.

Considering Java's often erratic nature, it might be simpler to begin with a fresh foundation rather than attempting to resolve a single point of contention.

Should I completely reinstall the server and its associated modifications? I already performed that step, but my friend attempted it twice without success.

Should this be a pre-existing compilation, researching its details independently could be beneficial.

I haven’t worked with Minecraft modification for a considerable period of time.
