My latest information indicates the Wi-Fi isn't working.
I recently updated the BIOS of my Gigabyte AORUS B650i to version F9D and tried a few fixes—deleting drivers, formatting the drive, and even rolling back the BIOS—but nothing worked. I checked the BIOS menu for any toggle options, but found none. It’s frustrating since it functioned perfectly before. Any suggestions or support would be really helpful.
I would proceed by following these steps:
1. Obtain the newest Windows-compatible AMD WiFi/BT, chipset, and APU drivers from Gigabyte’s site.
2. Remove any existing drivers for WiFi/BT, chipset, or APU.
3. Restart the PC to BIOS and reset it to default settings. Then log back into Windows.
4. Install the downloaded drivers in this sequence: chipset first, then APU, followed by WiFi/BT. Restart the system.
5. If the WiFi restarts, adjust BIOS settings as needed. If not, reinstall the BIOS firmware from a fresh copy on Gigabyte’s site (consider using another USB drive if available), then repeat steps 1–4.
From what I understand, the RZ616 is an AMD version of a WiFi adapter built with a MediaTek chip, possibly requiring software integration within the chipset drivers.
