My laptop won't turn on (the power light is flashing).
I have a hp laptop called an hp omen 15. right now when I hit the power button, the little light on top of it starts blinking fast. even though i plug in the charger, that charging light stays orange but when i press the power button both the power light and the charging light start flashing at the same time.
Can you plug in the adapter without it working? Also, do you have the part number or model number of your HP Omen ready?
Without an adapter, the power light just flashes instead of turning on.
What year did this computer last get built? Is there a guarantee for this one?
Basically, it shut itself down with no touch from anyone involved.
It could just be that the computer is too hot or the parts inside it are broken. Since this isn't covered by your warranty, you can take apart the bottom part of the laptop, unplug the battery, and see if turning it on with the charger fixes anything.
