My laptop won't start up right after I changed the hard drive to an SSD.
Hey, after upgrading my SSD and changing the thermal paste on my ASUS X555LN, it won't turn on at all. The CPU and GPU get hot, but the fans don't spin up and two lights stay lit. I tried checking the battery with a multimeter, resetting power by unplugging everything, and even removing the SSD to see if that fixed anything—still nothing worked. Could it be that the motherboard is broken? I used the right tools and stayed careful throughout. Thanks!
