My computer is an Acer Aspire E1-570G with an i5-3337U processor and a GT740m graphics card. While playing Grand Theft Auto on the lowest settings, I was averaging 30-40 frames per second. However, after the new launcher was introduced, my frame rate plummeted to 15-20 fps in single player and only 8-10 fps online. I tried various troubleshooting steps, such as setting power options to maximum performance, updating my graphics driver, configuring NVIDIA Experience settings for optimal GTA performance, disabling background applications, and removing unnecessary software. Using MSI Afterburner, I observed that my CPU consistently operated at 100%, while the GPU only reached approximately 31%. This suggests that my CPU could be limiting performance, but I’d like to hear your opinions.
