My laptop does not show up on my computer, and I can't get the driver to work.
It only happened recently. I've been using the GTX 1660 TI in my laptop fine before. Now, there are some problems with csgo. I tried to update the graphics card drivers through Geforce Experience, but it failed. Then I thought about reinstalling Geforce Experience, but now Geforce can't install because it doesn't see an Nvidia GPU. In Device Manager, the Nvidia GPU isn't showing up under Display Adaptors, even when I checked "Show hidden devices." There is no "Other Devices" section either. The Nvidia Control Panel also can't find the Nvidia GPU. When I tried downloading drivers from Nvidia and installing them, it didn't work. Even though the installer said there was a problem, it still says my graphics driver isn't compatible with this Windows version and couldn't find the hardware. It says my GPU is in "extreme power saving" mode in Armoury Crate, but I'm not sure if that's why. I don't know what to do right now. Help would be appreciated. Armoury crate shows my GPU as inactive and on "extreme power saving mode."
Hey there! If you open up GPU-Z, can you look past just the Intel graphics card to find other options? I want to know exactly what kind of laptop you are using, including its model number and the specific SKU. Also, did you get any BIOS updates ready for this thing yet?
You want to know if there are any new BIOS updates coming in. Here is what my computer looks like according to Windows settings: It's a laptop with the name LAPTOP-LLB5PL8D. The processor is an Intel Core i5-9300H running at 2.40 GHz, and it has 16.0 GB of RAM installed (with about 15.9 GB actually usable). My device ID is 2FC6BBC9-139B-481B-8D62-55CE2AD4777B, and the product ID is 00325-81357-95102-AAOEM. The system uses a 64-bit operating system that works on x64-based processors. I don't have pen or touch input available for this display. When you check sysinfo, how do I know if there are any pending BIOS updates?
Man, I still don't see any problems with my graphics card even though I installed that BIOS update almost a month ago. Now I am getting exactly the same errors as before. I've tried to get another BIOS update down, but nothing changed. Can you help me out?
