When installing a 40GB game (Assassin's Creed Syndicate), the download initially proceeds for approximately two minutes, after which my internet connection abruptly ceases functioning and remains unavailable until a computer restart. My internet connectivity operates normally during other online activities, such as browsing the web. I encountered a similar issue described in another post, but the suggested solution did not resolve my problem as all drivers are currently updated. Furthermore, I cannot post a comment on the original thread due to restrictions. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
We're going to need more information. Please list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
If your intermediary path of internet is via a router, make sure that it's on the latest firmware update. You might also want to make sure that your platform(motherboard)'s BIOS is up to date. Then make sure your OS is on the latest revision(if Windows 10).

Ryzen 5 1600, Gigabyte B450 DS3H motherboard, 8GB Corsair RAM, 240GB SSD, 1TB HDD, Gigabyte RX560 GPU, Gigabyte 450W PSU, Gigabyte chassis, Windows OS. My Windows is updated, my BIOS is the latest version, and I believe my firmware is also up to date. Despite these updates, the issue persists. However, when I download the same files using the same internet connection on a different computer, the game downloads without any problems.
