Hi, it's a new build, I upgraded to Windows 11 and I had it all running well so I moved my C drive over to my new M.2 SSD on the Motherboard. Then I erased the old drive and reformatted it. Wanting to plug all my other drives back in I shut down from the windows menu but it kept restarting so I pushed the power button to force it, I then plugged in all the other drives and booted back up but got the blue screen saying not bootable drive. In BIOS, in the boot menu the M.2 is not listed, only the old C drive, the SSD that is now blank! I cloned it so everything is on that M.2
Any help appreciated I'm sweating it here a bit.

Explained the process of transferring the original C files to the new drive. Requested a complete parts list with details on the make and model of each item.

It's a fresh installation
When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's standard to provide your complete system details. Please list the specifications as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the PSU age along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
I switched to Windows 11
Did you try the internal upgrade method from Windows 10? You might need to reinstall Windows 11 later to avoid any internal issues.
So I transferred my C drive to a new M.2 SSD on the Motherboard
Using a cloning tool?

it's a gigabyte B650 UD AX with a ryzen 5 7600, geforce rtx 5060 ti, vengeance dr3 2x16gb, kingstone m.2 pcie 4, and diskgenious was the tool i tried. it reported issues with taking snapshots of partitions, but i resolved it by using cloning in a safe boot environment, which worked fine until i rebooted.

The initial drive and operating system were different from what was later used. The steps involved moving from an old drive with an old OS to a new M.2 setup running Windows 11, followed by a failure to boot. DiskGenius is mentioned as a potential clone tool, though not confirmed in this context.

It was only the app that kept appearing online whenever I asked for instructions.
I upgraded from Windows 10 to 11.
Using the app, I moved and cloned my C drive from the SSD it was on to a new M.2 SSD.
My PC restarted after switching to the new M.2 SSD.
I reformatted the old SSD and everything worked again.
Now I plan to shut down and connect other drives, then reformat them.
Attempted to close via the menu but kept restarting.
Pushed power to shutdown and connected new drives.
Failed to boot and saw a blue screen; the boot drive wasn’t detected.
In BIOS, the new M.2 isn’t visible at all.
I’m currently trying to create a bootable Windows 11 USB on an old Mac with a broken screen.
Any suggestions?

I anticipate the cloning procedure you applied did not include copying the boot partition. (this is just an assumption)
That’s why the step that was never discussed is to turn OFF the system, physically remove all other storage devices, and start from a boot from the new drive.
Before making any changes.
For your reference...

the aspects that stand out are the M.2 driver. that could be the issue.
appreciate the detailed explanation.
i plan to boot from a USB and check if it resolves the problem...

I've been attempting to build a boot USB using all available online methods to create a Windows bootable drive, but it's not working.
