I have a Dell G3 15 3500 and my laptop has way too little storage so I want to add more. I bought an old SSD, wiped it with diskpart clean all, but now it won't show up at all in the BIOS or even in device manager or disk management. I tried putting just the drive into the PCIe slot alone and turned on the computer to check the BIOS; it was found there. But instead of showing up as a PCIe device, it shows up only in the SATA slot. I don't know if that matters at all. I'm completely sure the SSD is working fine, but I'm pretty sure 80% or so that the PCIe 2 slot actually works too.

Hey, what SSD do I have? Can you fix the BIOS settings?

The update didn't help at all. My drive is a Sandisk X400 with 128GB of storage space.
