I recently increased the overclock of my card, which worked initially but caused issues with my games crashing. After pressing the refresh button to return to previous settings, it only crashes when playing GTA. When I open GTA and the police screen appears, I get a black screen and the game fails to load. I attempted to uninstall it, but that didn’t help. Rebooting my PC also didn’t resolve the problem. I’m just trying to play GTA 5.

Switch DirectX settings according to your game's requirements. Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. Check the current temperatures.

you can adjust the settings if you can't enter gta and your temperatures are near 50, and you've recently installed new drivers after overclocking your gpu.

Are you certain you restored the overclock configurations to their standard state?

Remove the CMOS battery, wait 20 seconds, then reinstall it.
