I built this PC – an ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming with 16GB of G.Skill RipJaws V RAM, an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X cooled by a bequiet! Dark Rock 4, and a Sapphire 5700 XT Nitro+ SE – and honestly, I’m disappointed with the performance. I've been looking at what frame rates I can expect in games, and it’s not where I thought it would be. In Warzone at 1080p, I’m averaging around 70-140 FPS, with a big average of 95. My friends who have similar setups are seeing averages closer to 130 on YouTube. Apex Legends is pretty much the same – around 90-140 FPS, averaging about 105. But again, YouTube shows a wider range of 120-160 FPS. I’ve tried everything to boost it, like running all cores in Windows and tweaking settings in AMD Adrenalin, even overclocking the CPU with Ryzen Master, but it hasn’t made a difference. In Apex, I get nearly identical frame rates whether I'm playing on low or ultra settings. It’s frustrating because I invested a lot of money in this system, and it's not performing significantly better than my old one. My 3D Mark score is 8818, which is lower than the 9216 achieved by a similar system with a Ryzen 3700X and the same graphics card back in 2020.

When you’re looking at comparisons with YouTube results, it's really important to make sure you’re comparing apples to apples. Did the other video use exactly the same specs and settings – things like anti-aliasing, for example? And it’s also crucial to consider whether you're comparing campaign play against campaign play, or single-player against single-player. They need to be identical.

Plus, keep in mind that the newest AMD graphics cards, particularly those in the 5000 series, had some serious driver issues for a long time – over seven months. So, double-check that you’ve got the correct drivers installed for your card. Honestly, it wasn't entirely clear if they’d even fully resolved those problems, and some builds seemed to be affected more than others.

It would have been helpful if you could have included a link to the YouTube video you used for comparison, so we could get a better sense of whether your results were truly comparable.

“I’ve got the newest drivers installed, and even though they were supposed to be identical – sometimes even a little slower than my own – they still managed to boost my frame rate significantly, especially in multiplayer games. It’s really puzzling though; it feels like my graphics card isn't reaching its maximum capacity, and I’ve tried every performance setting I could find in Windows, but it hasn't made a difference at all.”

Honestly, I’m still a bit doubtful about this, particularly because you didn't check to see if you were using the exact same settings. That game has a *huge* number of them!

I also did a little digging on YouTube looking at CoD Warfare performance with your specific CPU, GPU, and RAM – and the numbers I found were nowhere near as impressive as you described. Plus, people’s settings varied wildly, from low texture quality to ultra-high settings.

It really bothers me when people post things like this without mentioning what settings they used or linking to the videos they’re referencing. I tend to spot problems with their reasoning pretty quickly, and it's just a matter of observation.

Listen, I've spent months of researching of this card and all the information I needed with games, and I'm very far from what I've seen in benchmarks. Avg of FPS with this card in 1080 Should be at least 130 for example in warzone, mine is 100. Also in Apex Legends it should be an avf of 140, mine is 120. GPU usage is around 70%. And the settings are the same, of course I make sure all the settings are the same, but I've never experienced this kind of problem with a GPU.

Honestly, I'd feel much better if you could just tell me exactly which settings you’re using and share some links to the videos you referenced. That way, we can all be on the same track. There are so many different factors to consider with something like this.

Also, if you’ve really done your homework on that particular GPU, you'd know it had a pretty long time with some really persistent driver problems. It’s still unclear whether those issues have been completely resolved for all kinds of different computers, at least from what I’ve seen. I personally wouldn't recommend it as a GPU – especially if you’re hoping for consistently smooth, high frame rates with a 144Hz monitor.
