My gaming FPS numbers got lower when I bought a new computer.
I recently swapped out my old power supply for a new one that has more wattage (now 750w instead of 500), and when I started playing games on it, the frame rate numbers were all over the place. At first everything looked fine, but then in Overwatch 2 I was mostly getting super high FPS, like 144 frames per second, but sometimes the game would stutter badly for a few seconds with only 15 to 30 frames. I thought that might just be about the Overwatch game so I tried playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice too and it's basically impossible now! The first few minutes I was getting steady 60 FPS, but after that those numbers dropped way down to around 20-30 frames even on the lowest graphics settings. I honestly don't know if this new power supply is causing all of this, I've updated my drivers and Windows but nothing seems to help. You told me you got a 750-watt PSU, but my specs say only 500 watts.
Oops, sorry, I made a mistake. I copied the specs from an old post without checking if they changed from 500 to 750 watts. I even thought I had 600w earlier when it was actually 500oops!
