In the video game Fortnite, when I attempt to switch building controls using my mouse and keyboard buttons, there’s a noticeable delay of approximately one to two seconds. This lag is quite apparent during gameplay, and I’m unsure why this issue is occurring.

Examine your system’s resource monitor to observe your processor's activity. Additionally, consider removing the supplementary 4 gigabyte RAM module. Combining a slower memory stick with a quicker one can create performance issues – it might be beneficial to test whether this alteration resolves your existing problem.

Examine your task manager to monitor your processor’s activity levels.

Furthermore, it would be advisable to uninstall that supplementary 4 gigabyte memory module. Combining a slower RAM stick with faster RAM can negatively impact performance – investigate whether removing it resolves your issue.
