Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my setup. I have an 1070 TI Asus GPU, an i5-4440 CPU, and 8 GB of RAM. Many games I'm trying to play are lagging—Far Cry is around 50-60 FPS, while I expect at least over 60 FPS on Far Cry 5 with my 1070 TI. I don’t know what’s going on, but it would really help if someone could assist me.

I don't have real-time data on my current CPU and GPU usage. Please check your system monitoring tools for accurate details.

It seems like the CPU might be the limiting factor, but XACID suggests checking both CPU and GPU usage in the game. You can use this guide to analyze that. If your CPU is consistently at 90-100% while the GPU usage stays low, it indicates a CPU bottleneck. Also, if RAM usage exceeds 7GB, that could be another issue.

While I'm using Far Cry 5, my CPU is running at 80-90% and my GPU is only 1%.

I believe the issue might be with my CPU while I'm playing, at around 90%.

Are you certain the HDMI cable is connected to the GPU, not the motherboard?

Attempt to turn off the iGPU in the BIOS and then retry. It appears your GPU isn't being utilized.
