Hey there, I'm getting a new PC set up and trying to play Destiny 2. Right now, I’m hovering around 70-100 frames per second on high graphics settings, but the game keeps freezing and stuttering – even when I turn down some of the visual details.

I've been running some tests with UserBenchmarks, and my system’s showing: Game performance at 56%, Desk at 71%, Work at 72%. My CPU, an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, is hitting 83.8% usage, and my graphics card, an AMD RX 580, is at 55.5%. My storage is a mix of an Adata SSD (240GB) at 70.5% and a Seagate Barracuda HDD (2TB, from 2018) at 120.3%. Finally, I’ve got 2x8GB of Corsair RAM running at 79.4% usage on my MSI X470 GAMING PLUS motherboard.

Your ram wouldn't be set then to run at it's rated speed. Default is 2133 until XMP is enabled.
Hopefully this helps.
Once done (hopefully), check Hwinfo and memory controller clock should say 1500.
Did you configure this PC yourself or did you have help?

Could you tell me how hot your computer’s processor and graphics card get when you're playing games?

When I'm gaming, the temperature readings don’t really feel accurate—they seem surprisingly low and almost like a baseline measurement, not what I'd expect under load.

Hey, what’s the temperature like where you are? Seriously, zero degrees? That's a bit chilly. If your ambient temperature is hovering around 20 Celsius, then 30 degrees isn't really realistic. Run HWInfo64 to see your CPU’s live speed and the temperature of your GPU – especially when you're gaming or experiencing those stuttering issues.

Hey, apologies – the game’s live now, but I can't seem to log in. My CPU is running between 40 and 44 percent, and my GPU’s at 55 to 60.

Could you let me know where you're getting your temperature readings? Also, I’d appreciate it if you could run HWInfo64 and share a screenshot displaying both your CPU temperature and its current speed.
