I'm experiencing frequent FPS drops and screen freezes while attempting to play the new Modern Warfare Battle Royale. Despite possessing a GTX 1080, an i7-8700k processor with effective cooling, and running at modest settings for my hardware specifications, I continue to encounter these issues. My system memory consistently reaches 90% or higher throughout gameplay, prompting me to investigate whether this is the root cause. I currently have 8GB of DDR4 2666 RAM and am hesitant to purchase additional memory without a definitive solution. I have ensured my drivers are up-to-date and welcome any assistance you can provide.
I run my games at 1080p 144fps, so I should definitely upgrade to more RAM.
