I’m experiencing some frustrating lag in Fortnite, especially when I turn my mouse. It usually starts smoothly, but after about a minute or so of playing, things just start to stutter and lag. This happens no matter what resolution I use – whether it’s high or low settings.

I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what might be causing this. Here’s my computer setup:

* **Motherboard:** ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0
* **Processor:** AMD FX8350 8 Core (hitting around 80 degrees while playing)
* **Graphics Card:** MSI Radeon RX 570 8GB (around 60 degrees while playing – drivers are up to date)
* **Memory:** 8GB (2 x 4GB) at 1600MHz DDR3
* **Storage:** 500GB SSD
* **Monitor:** Benq 2750GW (1920 x 1080 at 83KHz)
* **Internet:** Wired connection with a 20ms ping, 75Mbps upload and 24Mbps download.

I tweaked the sensitivity on my Corsair mouse, brought it down a bit, and got it working perfectly.

Hey, what kind of frame rate are you seeing? And could you tell me what CPU cooler you’re using? Honestly, your processor and memory aren't really cutting it – that’s some pretty old gear. You might want to try swapping out the thermal paste on your CPU; it could make a difference in how hot things get. Just a heads-up, the FX series tends to run hotter than other processors.
