You're experiencing a sudden loss of free space on your SSD, likely due to excessive temporary file usage. Using tools like WinDirStat helped identify large temp directories consuming most space. To avoid this, consider setting limits on temporary folders or implementing regular cleanup routines.

execute cleanup tool as well; right-click then select disk settings, which includes a "free up space" option

Cleaner remains helpful, yet it’s becoming bloated with constant background activity. You can turn it off, but ideally you’d want to avoid installing it in the first place.

Search for a "Disk Cleanup" utility on Windows. It’s a feature designed to remove temporary files, crash logs, and other clutter. Try it out before installing any new disk cleaning software. Click "clean up system files" to check what the tool can delete. You can find more info at the Microsoft website link provided. Keep in mind that if your drive is nearly full with temp files, backing up data first is a smart idea.

The files are named pagefile.sys and hiberfil.sys. You should determine whether you require a page file or the capability to hibernate your system.
