My Far Cry New Dawn game becomes frozen whenever I press a key on my keyboard.
Hi,
I recently downloaded Far Cry New Dawn and immediately after pressing any key, the game consistently drops to 5 frames per second from a range of 40-50. It functions perfectly when I use a controller. Could someone please advise me on this issue? Any assistance would be appreciated.
My system specifications are:
GTX 1050 Ti
Core 2 Duo E8200
8GB RAM
To run those games properly, you’ll need to replace your processor; I don't believe it’s optimized for gaming and is primarily designed for regular tasks. Upgrading the CPU might also necessitate updating your motherboard and related components. Your current system appears to be a standard desktop workstation.
Here are the specifications:
Minimum (720p, low settings):
Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 (64-bit only)
Processor: Intel Core i5 2400 @ 3.1 GHz or AMD FX 6350 @ 3.9 GHz
Memory: 8GB RAM
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 (2GB) or AMD Radeon R9 270X (2GB) or improved models
Sound: A sound card supporting DirectX 9.0c with updated drivers
Hard Drive: At least 30 GB of free space
Accessories: Windows-compatible keyboard, mouse, and headphones
Recommended (1080p, high settings):
Operating System: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 (64-bit only)
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 @ 3.6 GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.2 GHz
Memory: 8GB RAM
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290X (4GB) or better models
Sound: A sound card supporting DirectX 9.0c with updated drivers
Hard Drive: At least 30 GB of free space
Accessories: Windows-compatible keyboard, mouse, and headphones
The reason your game is experiencing freezes is due to the CPU’s inability to process it effectively!
The issue of the extreme coldness is due to your processor, which isn’t suitable for this particular game and isn't designed for gaming purposes.
