Symptoms: BSOD
During attempts to fix, the system restarts after trying to repair, around 70%.
On startup, fans activate and lights flicker for 1-2 seconds before shutting off. This pattern repeats. Occasionally I reach the BIOS menu (which usually indicates a boot failure from overclocking), but no text appears—only UEFI booting in the top. The machine then stops and restarts the same cycle.
I’ve removed all components from the motherboard, using just 4/8GB RAM, the built-in GPU, and all USB devices. No improvement.
Taken a break for 1 minute, 10 minutes, and 6 hours. All RAM was replaced, but the boot process remained unchanged.
EDIT: Recently encountered an issue with the coolant pump not functioning properly. That’s why I decided to redo my overclocking.
Uncertain if this affects anything since I’m struggling to get it online. Here are the details:
CPU: 2600k
Liquid cooled
BCLK: 103
Frequency: 4.4
Memory rated at 1600, but reduced to 1333 during OC testing.
GPU: HD6970
MSI afterburner:
Clock: 930
Power: +50%
Memory: 1425
MOBO: Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H-B3 (1.3)
Windows 10 (latest update)
RAM: ADATA 1600
PSU: 800w
SSD: 80GB Boot
HDD: 500gb storage
I’m installing a new PSU on the way.
really hoping I didn’t damage my motherboard or CPU.

I reset the CMOS by removing the battery and using the jumper. Waited 6 hours without power or battery. Same outcome. It turned on, held power, no screen action, no beep, then after 15 seconds it died. Then it restarted, died again, cycle kept repeating until I changed the I/O. Likely the PSU is the issue.
