I own a Ryzen 1700 CPU with an ASRock B450M PRO4 board. On the previews BIOS I was able to overclock to 3.6GHz on all cores, but the boost didn't perform well; my CPU only reached 3.7GHz on two cores during load. I updated the BIOS from 1.60 to 2.0 and set it to default, without further attempts. Now the settings aren't applying, and the BIOS still shows a manual 3600MHz but reports the CPU running at 3.0GHz. In other programs like HWMonitor and Afterburner it runs at 3.2GHz as expected with boost. This update helped with RAM overclocking, so I don't want to revert to 1.6 for another attempt. Anyone has suggestions on how to fix this?

Do you have the AMD overclock tool installed?

i'm using the bios oc, but i faced problems with ryzen master during the process. the cpu wouldn't return to its original settings. after two hours, it worked again, and i completed the os using the asrock bios.

Adjust the window settings to high performance mode. Next, review hwmonitor to find the reported CPU speed.

I managed it on the very first day I got the computer last year.
Now that I've had some problems, I'm uncertain about using it again.

I would apply the best default configurations and reset everything. It looks like you're really upset with the present adjustments. Beginning fresh would be the optimal choice.

I attempted to load default, clear CMOS, boost and cool 'n quiet with all settings off, but nothing worked. I made this account to seek assistance since I tried everything I know and it didn’t help. I’ll try again using Ryzen Master once I’m back.
