My computer won't turn on because my CPU is overclocked.
I tried using a program called Ryzen Master to speed up my CPU, but now my computer won't turn on at all. I went into game mode in that same app and restarted my PC so the changes took effect. But even after restarting, it still won't power on. Every time I press the power button, just the lights flash briefly and then go off. The fans spin for a second but stop right away too. I changed nothing except using the software; I didn't touch the BIOS. Can anyone help me?
Head to the BIOS and set everything back to its starting point. If that fails, try clearing the CMOS; your motherboard manual has a step-by-step guide for that.
If you can't even turn on your computer, just clear your CMOS memory instead of trying to fix it in the BIOS. Sometimes you'll still manage to get past that initial hurdle.
You got it from the official site on the manufacturer's web page. That link has the right info like the manual, drivers, and BIOS version. You probably already checked that everything was updated before buying or setting this up.
I took out the battery for thirty seconds, but it didn't fix the problem. I also tried the jump wire trick, which still isn't working. The little lights right in front of my PC keep blinking right after they stop shining, even though nothing is showing up on the screen.
