Great decision, ensure you receive a solid one and handle the BIOS settings carefully.

I just wish I hadn't cooked anything. That's my main worry.

Hopefully it won't happen, though it's not impossible.

It's unclear whether a damaged CPU and RAM would affect warranty eligibility. You should check the specific terms of your warranty.

Uncertain, but you'll know if you need to return more. I hope no other items are affected.

Yeah, I'd probably do it. It's tough but that's just life sometimes. I haven't done it myself before, but you really need to understand what you're doing. Also, what CPU are you using? I've heard 8-core chips can really raise the VRMs on the B350 when overclocked. Some have better heatsinks than others, though I'm not sure about your motherboard, so maybe I'm off.

I'm using the r5 1400 (Ryzen for life) and I wouldn't be upset if I had to buy new RAM since Black Friday is coming up soon. I just forgot about that. But I hope it's the motherboard because then it would be much cheaper.
