My computer struggles with running games, yet it has good components.
Hey there. I’m having an issue with my PC. It struggles to run games smoothly, showing very low FPS even though it’s a decent machine. I’m not sure what to do—it sometimes plays GTA V at 25 FPS, Garry’s Mod at 70 FPS, and Rust at 40 FPS. I just need some advice to improve its performance. Here are my specs.
Using MSI Afterburner or another monitoring software (like Task Manager) will generate graphs. Exiting or pressing Alt-Tab from the game lets you review system usage during play.
Your system is nearly at full capacity with 83% usage, rust consuming 8GB independently. Are there other processes running in the background?
I was using just Steam and Discord running quietly in the background.
